As part of the creation of Super Agencies, BSR Solutions provided assistance to DPI’s Corporate Services Division on best practice for provision of ICT and corporate services, including the benchmarking of ICT and corporate services staff numbers against similar Government agencies. The assignment looked at the integration of corporate services in Head Office with similar services provided by a smaller Agency within the same portfolio. The assignment involved the analysis of options for a new integrated organisation structure, consolidated resourcing requirements and the impact on and risks associated with a new service delivery model. The major focus was on ICT applications and support services and the need to transition to Shared Corporate Services in support of the Government’s Reform Agenda. The resultant study report demonstrated a positive outcome for change, cost and risk reduction opportunities and potential improvement in service delivery support and infrastructure availability.
